Food Courts in Ipoh, Malaysia
Food courts are one of the best choices of eating place for visitors and local residents, especially in Ipoh - the heaven of food. There are more choices of food available to suit different people's preference. One can taste all kind of Ipoh food at once by sharing with friends and family. Restoran Kam Wan (Aneka selera)This famous food court located at the Ipoh Garden.
What are the food available? There are grill fish, Japanese sushi, rojak, curry mee, popiah, porridge, Western food, fried mee, Nyonya kuih and much more. Attention! This place only opens at night time. Woolley Food CityWoolley Food City is located just opposite of Restoran Kam Wan. It opens from morning to night. It is renovated and re-opened on 1st Oct 2007. Now, it looks modern, neat, clean and equipped with TVs.
However, the food stalls are more or less the same as before. But, there is a new stall selling nice curry mee (just tasted it on last weekend, hehe).Other food available are Wan Ton mee, Chee Cheong Fun, Bah Kut Teh, Jawa mee, porridge, roasted chicken rice etc. Medan Selara StadiumFrom its name, you can guess out that it is located at the Perak Stadium. Some stalls are open in the morning while some stalls only open at night. In the morning, a beverage stall sells nice "ABC" - Air Batu Kacang, a local cold drink. Sweet corn, red bean, grass jelly, groundnuts and more are added into a bowl of blended ice. You will have the choice to go for the red syrup or "gula Melacca" (Melacca Sugar).

Personally, I'm not into the ABC but another similar cold drink, which is the mix fruit ice. Again, it's a bowl of blended ice with fruits such as watermelon, honey dew, lycee, longan etc. hmmm... Yummy! Hehe.
Food available are Wan Ton mee, Western food, Chee Cheong Fun, Hor Hee, Jawa mee etc.
